OBJECTIVE

Designed the visual identity and event assets for Philips Sonicare’s presence at the Long Beach Marathon.

Philips Sonicare sponsored the 2023 Long Beach Marathon, and we were tasked with creating a cohesive visual identity for their presence throughout the event. This included branded trail sections and an on-site booth experience. Some areas were solely dedicated to the Philips Sonicare brand, while others required a thoughtful integration with the Long Beach Marathon branding—striking a balance between both identities to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for participants.

Visual Identity

The client requested bright, eye-catching designs with a strong emphasis on Philips Sonicare’s signature blue. With less than three weeks to complete all assets, we moved quickly to finalize the visual direction—starting with the scrims, which were prioritized for early production.

Ceci led the creative concept with a flowy, rainbow-inspired design that echoed the marathon trail and incorporated playful illustrations, tying in seamlessly with the event’s mural. Building on this foundation, we collaborated to produce the full suite of assets, including the jumbotron visuals, asphalt stickers, teardrop flags, tents, signage, and more.
